Thrive was created to help couples better understand marriage and how God designed it to work. Each week, groups look at what the Bible says about marriage, and draw some sound principles from leading marriage experts.
In order to create this environment, we need many skilled group leaders who are willing to be open and vulnerable while encouraging others. Thrive is a great ministry in which to serve alongside your spouse as it gives you an opportunity to continue to invest in your own marriage.
Please read through the information below to better understand the role of a leader and the steps to becoming a leader. If you're interested in pursuing Thrive leadership, begin the application process.
Thrive group leaders are responsible for providing vision, direction, and support. Each week Thrive leaders facilitate conversation around a specific topic while offering help and encouragement. Leaders are successful when they are personally growing in their own relationship with Jesus Christ and encouraging the group members' growth as well. This requires time spent in the group meeting, occasional meetings with group members outside of the normal meeting time, and participation in ongoing training and development opportunities provided by the church.
