To the apostle John, following Jesus and being compassionate were practically synonymous. This is particularly true when it comes to our money and other resources. As Christians, we look for ways to do for others what in that moment they can't do for themselves.
In life, it seems that something is always breaking—which means we are always fixing. We can become pros at it. But there are some things in life that we shouldn’t fix—things that creep into our lives, become a mainstay, and without us knowing it, undermine our relationships, our success, and our relationship with God.
