Beyond Us
A new opportunity for us to pursue our community
The Project
We are launching a capital campaign to paint the exterior of our building, create an outdoor stage on our side lawn, and update our new entrance with a new sign.
Why are we doing a capital campaign now?
A new exit is being constructed in front of our property that will bring a great deal of development and foot traffic to/around our building. This has highlighted an opportunity to reach more of our community by creating and improving our outdoor spaces. We are launching a capital campaign for the following projects: painting the exterior of our building, creating an outdoor stage on our side lawn, and updating our new entrance with a new sign.
We’re going to call the project “Beyond Us.”
That may sound familiar because it is the same name of the capital campaign we used to expand the student space six years ago. And we chose to keep it the same because even though the projects change, the vision remains the same.
We’re not just about what happens inside our walls and the people who are already here. We’ve always been a church whose focus is beyond us. The natural drift of any church is inward—focusing on who is already here. We want to always focus on who we have the potential to reach.
As a church in this community, we want to continue to pursue the people who are disconnected from church and disinterested in faith, and do whatever it takes to connect them with their Heavenly Father. We believe this project will be a big step in reaching those beyond us.
How can you help?
