Section Eight: Brokenness
God’s ultimate purpose for brokenness is to break our dependency on anything other than him.
Leaving the life of the flesh or personal effort and entering the abundant life of Christ living through us requires complete surrender of everything other than Christ. God knows that the only way we can experience abundant life is to depend solely and completely on him. When we let go of our rights and become fully surrendered, God is able to do unbelievable things . . . more than we could ever imagine.
