Section Five: Truth
Truth cannot be changed, but it changes us.
Our culture confuses truth with facts. Truth is factual, but it’s also more. It cannot be changed, but it changes us. It frees us from the false beliefs of the flesh. Scripture calls us to walk in the truth, to love the truth, and to believe the truth. Replace old beliefs with new ones, and then believe them. Healthy behaviors and emotions will follow. There is an ongoing battle for our minds—but the good news is that it’s the Lord’s battle with the enemy, and he is more than capable of victory. Your role is to renew your mind by feeding it with the truth in his Word.
