Section Six: Freedom
In Christ, we have the power to say NO to sin.
Christ has given us the freedom of a new life, one in which we have the power to say no to sin. It may taunt and tempt us, but our new identity is in Christ; our new mode of living is him reigning in us. The Christian life isn’t about the fear of disappointing God. It’s not about trying harder and harder to please him. Sin doesn’t control where we go when we die, and it doesn’t have to control how we live.
