Section Two: Needs
How we go about meeting our needs defines who we are.

God created us with needs—needs for security, satisfaction, and significance. How do we go about meeting these needs? Do you find your identity in Christ, or does the significance of career or the security of relationships tell you who you are? It’s okay to derive security, satisfaction, or significance from marriage, family, or career. In fact, God designed us to express and experience those things through our work and relationships. But there’s a fine line between allowing God to satisfy your needs through work and relationships and allowing work and relationships to supplant God as your source of comfort, security, and value.
