COVID-19 SAFETY PROTOCOLS
Are masks required?
All adults and volunteers will be required to wear masks inside the building. Children in Waumba Land will not be required to wear masks.
Will your classrooms have limited capacity?
Yes. To encourage social distancing, we are reducing our preschool classroom capacity. As an additional effort to limit the amount of people on the Waumba hall during drop-off and pick-up times, we ask that one parent accompany your child(ren) onto the hall when possible.
Will there be hand sanitizer available?
Hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the building, our environment, and within each classroom. Children will be given hand sanitizer upon entering the classroom, before and after snack, and at regular intervals throughout the hour.
What are your cleaning procedures?
Clean toys will be provided for each service hour. Toys and surfaces will be sanitized each hour. Additional measures will be taken to ensure the sanitation of restroom areas between service hours. All curriculum has also been re-evaluated to comply with the new guidelines (i.e. no contact with other children, individualized supplies, etc.).
Will my child receive a snack?
Yes. Cheerios will be offered to our crawlers through Pre-K children.
Why do I need to register weekly?
To encourage social distancing, our classrooms will have limited capacities. Pre-registration helps us to both control the numbers per classroom and adequately prepare for volunteer staffing.
If anyone in your family is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, please refrain from attending.
