InsideOut Serve Sunday

InsideOut + Be Rich | Serving Families at The Place at Forsyth

Project

November 22 is our annual Serve Sunday, and we’re excited for our Browns Bridge InsideOut students to partner with Be Rich to serve families in need in our community!

This year, we’ll be partnering with The Place at Forsyth to donate, decorate, and pack healthy snack bags for local families. Our goal is to pack a couple thousand snack bags, and we need your help to make it happen! We will hear from our partner, pray over the families receiving the bags, and pack the snack bags together on this day.

Donations

We’re asking each student to bring 3 large boxes of healthy snacks to donate. These snacks will be used to fill the bags we’ll pack together on Serve Sunday. *Important: All donated snacks MUST be nut-free!*

Here is a list of suggested snacks:

  • Applesauce pouches
  • Baked chips
  • Fruit cups in water (not syrup)
  • Granola bars
  • Popcorn
  • Protein bars
  • Raisins
  • Veggie straws
  • Whole-grain snacks (pretzels, crackers)

Collection Days

We’ll have three Sundays to collect donations before our Serve Sunday event:

  • Sunday, November 1
  • Sunday, November 8
  • Sunday, November 15

Please bring your student’s snack donations to InsideOut on any of these Sundays. Our team will count and sort the donations during the week so everything is ready for packing!

Extra Fun Incentive!

We’re adding some fun to the project! The grade that brings in the most snack donations will win a special prize at our IO Christmas Party in December. Encourage your student(s) to get their grade involved as we work together toward our goal!

Thank you for partnering with us to show the families in our community that they are loved and cared for. We can’t wait to see what our students accomplish together!

InsideOut (9th–12th grades) is a Sunday evening environment designed specifically for high school students. It includes a live band, practical teaching, and guided group discussion. All four high school grades meet from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays.
