InsideOut

A Place Where High School Students Belong

More Than Sunday

InsideOut meets from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays at Browns Bridge Church.

The pivotal season of high school goes by fast. While the goal is often to survive these years, InsideOut is here to help students make the most of them. On Sunday afternoons, students meet up with their friends for live music, practical teaching, and small group conversation guided by adult leaders who care about them.

Love, Dates, and Heartbreaks Graphic

Where does your student go for dating advice? Who do they talk to when they’re struggling with heartbreak and hard choices? Unfortunately, most students turn to friends or social media without stopping to ask whether the advice is actually leading them somewhere healthy.

That’s why we’re talking about love, dates, and heartbreaks this month at InsideOut. We believe the church should be the safest place to talk about this stuff. Not the quietest. Not the most awkward. The safest.

We will look to 1 Corinthians 13 as our guide to define love. We’ll talk about how dating isn’t just about finding the right person—it’s about becoming the kind of person love describes. We’ll talk about the things we should be looking for, and we’ll learn how to set healthy boundaries for how we treat others and allow them to treat us.

Your student is going to talk about love, sex, and dating, and we know you want to be a part of the conversation. That’s why we’re also providing a conversation guide to help you continue the conversation at home.
