More Than Sunday

InsideOut meets from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sundays at Browns Bridge Church.

The pivotal season of high school goes by fast. While the goal is often to survive these years, InsideOut is here to help students make the most of them. On Sunday afternoons, students meet up with their friends for live music, practical teaching, and small group conversation guided by adult leaders who care about them.

This Week in InsideOut

If you put apples in a pie, you'll make apple pie 100% of the time.

As obvious as this statement may be, we don't always live like what goes in comes out. We become frustrated by our choices, language, and behavior, even though the things we’re putting in our heart through our eyes and ears look and sound a lot like what's coming out of us.

We want our students to understand that what’s on the inside matters—a lot! And they get to choose what goes in! That’s why this month at InsideOut, we’re beginning a new, self-titled series called—you guessed it— InsideOut.

We’ll begin by talking about how change—real change—happens on the inside. God begins his life-changing work in our heart, and as he transforms our heart to care about what he cares about, we begin to have a heart that cares for others on the outside. And nothing impacts this change more than what we put in our heart. Music, books, social media, movies, conversations… it’s all going straight to our heart!

The good news is, we can train our hearts! We get to decide who we want to become and then choose what we put inside, knowing it will eventually be seen on the outside. And even better, we don't have to do it alone! We have God and our faith community encouraging us and training with us.
