Yet our lives can still fall short of what we hope and dream. Jesus gave us the reason for this 2,000 years ago in a place we know as the upper room. In life, it seems that something is always breaking—which means we are always fixing. We can become pros at it. But there are some things in life that we shouldn’t fix—things that creep into our lives, become a mainstay, and without us knowing it, undermine our relationships, our success, and our relationship with God.
